Today, the semi-finals of the Pavo Cup for four year-old dressage horses has been ridden. The judges Frenk Jespers, Ton de Kok and Jan Wolfs were positive about the quality of the horses. Jespers: "We have seen a very nice group of horses. there was not one top horse, but several did very well. In the end, I think the guest riders will make the final decision. The competition is still fully open, anything can happen."

The top-three were all KWPN approved stallions. Vivaldo (Polansky x Montecristo) and Mirelle van Kemenade got 85,5 punt, just a bit more then Krack C-son Vivaldi (ds.Jazz), who finished second with 84,5 punt ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud. Third place was also for Minderhoud, this time with Johnson (Jazz x Flemmingh) who earned 84 points.

The approved stallion Santano (Sandro Hit x Silvano N) shared his fourth place with the super mare Vodarijke. Santano was ridden by Majke van Grasstek. The pair got 83 points. Vodarijke was ridden by Sarah van Fessem. The daughter of Métall (ds.Highline), last years reserve champion of the 3 year-olds mares in hand also got 83 points.

Best gelding was OO Seven-son Vince. Ridden by José van Haaren he got 78,5 points, good enough for eighth place.
