National Mare Selection: Champion Bola Boasts Powerful Trot
After a warm and successful final day of jumping, the KWPN Horse Days concluded with the National Mare Selection. The outsider Bola (Vainqueur x K-Nola ster prok pref by Corofino x Lavallo) persuaded the judges with her strong trot and good body use in the first round as well as the final. The well-developed, long-legged, and correct mare with good conformation surprised many by winning the Champion title. She is registered to Jan van Kooten and Reinie Tewis.
Another mare with an eye-catching trot was Bo (Indoctro x Samona ster prok by Carthago, breeder: M. van Deurzen), registered to J. Barsema. With her good conformation, she placed second to finish ahead of B.Triomf, the best of the three Ultimo daughters in the final. A mare with beautiful conformation and an effortless trot, B.Triomf (d.Etriomf ster pref by Le Mexico) is registered to De Radstake BV.
