The stallion selection committee has chosen six jumper stallions for the performance test, which begins on Tuesday, October 27. Only one dressage stallion, however, was selected for the test: the five-year-old stallion Four Legends KS. This handsome Wynton son out of the elite preferent mare Vienna (s.Ferro) experienced notable success last weekend at the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. Other horses out of his immediate dam-line include the KWPN stallions Bretton Woods and Chagall D&R. Four Legends KS was bred by J.M. Jansen and G. Jansen-Blanken of Joppe and is registered to KS Horses in Heinkeszand.

The jumper committee selected four four-year-olds, one five-year-old, and one seven-year-old for the performance test. Among the four-year-olds is Chocolate Dream HDH, a Capistrano (s.Cornet Obolensky) son, whose dam Fly is by Ferragamo x Pit I. The stallion was bred by A. Dahl of Sprockhovel, Germany, and is registered to Hans Ding BV of Heeze and Mr. Wijlaars of Oirschot. Gringo R, a Catoki son out of D.Zarah R7, a ster PROK mare by Tolan R x Germus R, was also selected. Gringo R was bred by Stal Roelofs of Den Ham and is registered to Willem Greve Sportpaarden BV of Markelo and Teus van de Brink of Nijkerkerveen. Other products of this direct dam-line include the KWPN stallions Rash R and Zahros R. Fly, the champion of this year's Hendrix Competition, was also selected. He is by Kashmir van Schuttershof out of a Caretino x Corofino mare. Fly was bred by H. van Kessel of Heeswijk Dinther and is registered to Stal Hendrix of Kessel, Bert van de Oetelaar of Veghel, and J.C.M. van Kessel of Heeswijk Dinther. With his history as a breeding stallion, the selection committee will also evaluate a collection of his offspring. Born in Sweden, Mohawk is by the Grand Prix stallion Monte Bellini (s.Montender) out of the Niki-line. Mohawk's dam is B-Ulla Niki, a Orlando x Indoctro daughter. Mohawk is registered to BWG Stables BV of Tubbergen. Florian P, the five-year-old champion, was also selected for the performance test. He is by Zirocco Blue VDL out of the 1.40m-level ster sport (jump) mare Beyoncé by Cardento x Ahorn. Florian P was bred by P.W. Pijnacker and T.F. Pijnacker-Dam of Augsbuurt and is registered to Albert Zoer Jr. of Echten, who also rode him to the Champion title. I’m Special de Muze is a seven-year-old son of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof out of the renowned Grand Prix mare Walnut de Muze, a Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin daughter. Walnut de Muze is also the dam of the KWPN stalliont Falaise de Muze. I’m Special de Muze was bred by Joris de Brabander of St. Niklaas (BEL) and is registered to the Team Nijhof Partnership of Geesteren. The selection committee will also evaluate this stallion's offspring.
