With only the follow-up selection to go this coming Monday, the provisional number of jumper stallions qualified for the second round viewing is 115. Among the 16 stallions selected today are two sons each by Farfan M, El Clarimo and Fernando-H.

Of the 43 stallions presented, 16 received the green light. “We had a varied group of stallions today. Most were riding-type horses and had attractive conformation; but on the hard ground this morning, we had to comment several times on the legs,” explained committee chairman Cor Loeffen. The stallions selected for 's-Hertogenbosch include two good jumpers from the Cantos son Farfan M's first year at stud. “Although Farfan M isn't noted for his size, these two sons are big. And they also inherited their sire's good reflexes.” Flying Dream also presented a remarkable son from his first year at stud, and two good jumpers by the young stallions El Clarimo and the Calvino son Fernando-H were also selected. “We're pleased with the stallions we selected today, most of which also have an interesting pedigree. Today, we again had a few good, complete horses that scored well for conformation, jumping and bloodlines. So that bodes well for 's-Hertogenbosch!”
