To win, that was the goal that Albert Zoer had set himself and his favorite stallion Florian (v.Zirocco Blue VDL). And he succeeded! He managed to win the Z/ZZ class of the Blom Stallion Competition which adds another impressive title to his list.

In the fully packed Brabanthallen one could enjoy beautiful sport in the Z Class of the Blom stallion competition. Six stallions made it to the jump-off, under which several of the favorites for the title. But none of them could make it against the KWPN approved Florian (Zirocco Blue VDL out of Beyoncé P ster sport-spr by Cardento, beeders P.W. and T.F. Pijnacker-Dam from Augsbuurt) and Albert Zoer . After winning the Isah cup for five year olds, and the stallion competition in the Z Class, the eager stallion was again unbeatable. “Super he!, “said Albert Zoer afterwards. “He jumped a really nice round, in the jump-off we could make short turns without making a lot of speed. Florian always wants to do it! This winter I only rode him in the Stallion Competition and it is nice that he does not need a lot of shows to do a good round. He always goes for it, just like me of course!  After the last show in Zuidbroek, I hardly rode him because I had to go to Drachten and Amsterdam. Last Tuesday I rode him round at a local show and then now here in the final. Florian has got a super character, this horse really has got it! So, if I don’t need to, I will not sell him. I have the intention to produce him to the highest level, because I think he can do it. I will take him to some international shows this summer, that way he will get some experience at the young horse classes”, says Albert Zoer, who goes home satisfied.

Freeman VDL second, El Clarimo third In the final classification Jur vrieling and the impressive jumper Freeman VDL (Emmerton VDL uit Be Helena keur IBOP-spr van Chin Chin, b/reg.p. VDL Stud from Bears) finished in second place. In the jump-off the pair had a very unfortunate mistake but besides that the stallion showed his super rideability. El Clarimo (Clarimo out of Ulrika I by Limbus, breeder Birgitta Jonasson from Linderoed) jumped at ZZ-level with Zoï Snels.  They got in third. The eager stallion jumped with good reflexes and ease. Thanks to a double clear round today, the stallion Fire (Vleut uit Britt van Namelus R, fokker Kees de Vries uit Midwolde) ridden by Rob Heijligers could climb tot he fourth place in the final standings. In the jumpoff he was really quick and he set a time that only Albert Zoer and Florian manage to improve.
