Eebert takes the Oregon Trophy
One of the highlights of the KWPN stallion Show is always the battle for the Oregon trophy. Defending Champion was Delviro HBC, but this year he had to give way to the winner of 2015 Eebert. As always it was a true spectacle.
Six stallions competed for the famous Oregon trophy. Three of them were invited for a second round. But everything stayed the way it was, Eebert (Atleet x Manno) owned by the Van Manen Brothers from Ede, showed tremendous power. Also in the second round, he could keep the lead and was lined up in first place. He was ridden by Robbie van Dijk. Defending champion Delviro HBC (Vulcano x Waterman) was this years’ reserve champion. He was driven by Harry van Middelaar. Henk Hammers drove the very eager Heliotroop VDM (Colonist x Reflex M) owned by Jaap van der Meulen from Broek to an honorable third place. In fourth place was Icellie (Bocellie x Jonker) driven by Harm Jan Veenstra followed by Ditisem (Roy M x Manno) with Albert Lueks and Hertog Jan (Cizandro x Talos) with Mark de Groot.
