This morning it was time for the Harness Horses at the KWPN Stallion Show in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Three stallions are invited for performance testing. The Unieko–son Jesse James was the winner of the championship.

Chair of the Stallion Selection Committee Johan Hamminga was positive about this year’s group of stallions. Hij said there was lot of quality in the three stallions. Two of them have a relationship rate of less than 10%, which can be seen as very positive. Accepted for performancetesting are: Cat.nr. 665 – Julius van Hapert (Cizandro x Catherina HBC elite by Tendens HBC) breeder Hans Castelijns from Hapert. Cat. 672 – Jesse James (Unieko x Wyomi Landzicht ster van Marvel) bred and registered with Hengstenhouderij Landzicht from Giessenburg. Co-regieterd with Joop van Uytert and Jan Vink. Jesse James is the champion. Also, the five year-old Hackney-stallion Bocellies Matteo (Bocellie x Frogland’s Cover Girl by Rambo van de Schoonenberg, breeder Mies Jansen from Ede) registered with André Veltkamp from Hengelo received a ticket for the performance test that starts on March 6th.
