The national foal championships at the KWPN championships included lots of great quality foals. The jury commented that it was a good reflection of the current breeding. Toine Hoefs in the championships round for dressage foals: "We really enjoyed today's final group, our compliments to the breeders!"

Zeewuster and JS de Jager from Sleen out of Elsarina elite EPTM PROK by Jazz. "A well-modeled foal with lots of expression, front and great movements." Mijnsinaa champion of jumper foals
What a charming and athletic foal, Mijnsinaa (pictured) impressed with her model and powerful canter. The filly is sired by Emillion and comes out of Ambersinaa elite IBOP-spr PROK by Indoctro. President of the judges Henstra: "A lovely long-lined foal with lots of expression. She is light-footed and has a highly active hind leg. The ability to collect and extend is evident and the canter displays a lot of balance." Her breeder Sietse van der Meer was happy with the performance of his foal. "There is quite a story behind it. When Emillion turned 30 years old last year, my daughter Ykje won a cover by him. That turned out to be this foal. When he was in the pasture, the younger generation did not feel the need to take her to inspection. So I persuaded her, because I knew what a fantastic canter this foal posesses. Incredible that she became the champion." In place two was Mariano D., a son of Falaise de Muze (out of Bozella elite EPTM-spr PROK by Indoctro, f/g: H. van Dael from Kelpen Oler. Henstra: "A foal with a good model and great body-use in the canter." The third position was claimed by the Harley VDL-offspring Moonlight D. This well-developed colt is bred by J.Dikkema jr. from Scharmer out of the elite-mare Darina by Vegas. "An appealing foal with an impressive canter that showed balance and impulsion."
