dressage horses started the stallion performance test
15 dressage stallions have started the spring performance test in Ermelo last week. During the delivery, a veterinary remark was made about one of the stallions. He arrived this week.
A total of 25 three- and four-year-old stallions were on the starting order, but several were withdrawn last-minute. Out of the accepted stallions, 14 three-year-olds were, after being presented by their own rider, found sufficiently trainable to start the test. The veterinary surgeon past them all. The For Romance-son Kandour came to the after-delivery this week after which he started his test.
Presentation under saddle
Besides the 14 stallions that were accepted at the Stallion Show, one stallion was allowed in for the voluntary test. This the Glock’s Toto Jr.-son King Karim owned by Glock HPC Holding BV. Besides that, the saddle presentation of the four-year-old stallions, that were accepted at the KWPN Stallion show last year, took place. This was their last chance to start the test the regular way. “Four stallions were entered of which two were withdrawn. The remaining two showed themselves well, ridden by their own rider. They can be presented again on april 4th and, if the committee gives them the green light, they can start their 50-day test then”, senior-inspector Wim Versteeg explained. These stallions are the Five Star-son Jakarta from Mark den Teuling, and Ravel-son Joop! TC owned by Tim Coomans.
