The first champion has just been announced! The Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve son Liverpool convinced most of all 42 accepted jumper stallions.

Yesterday, 25 stallions were selected for performance testing and today 17 stallions were added. Four of them were also invited to the championship ring. It was the Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve son Liverpool (out of Dauphine keur IBOP-spr from Lux, breeder Bart Derksen from Steenderen) registered with Rob Cramer who was most appreciated by the committee. "A very complete horse! He has a good model, canters lightfooted and jumps in a very functional way with a good technique ", said stallion committee chairman Cor Loeffen. In second place came one of the four accepted Cohinoor VDL-sons: Louay Fortuna (out of Gracelavsca Fortuna ster PROK by Zambesi, breeders Peter and Anne Mieke Rinkes of Zwolle) registered with the VDL Stud. He convinced with his good scope, carefulness, eagerness and good overview in free jumping. In third was the impressive Diamant de Semilly-son Liamant W (out of Zarina III ster by Heartbreaker) from breeder Willy Wijnen and co-registered with VDL Stud. He impressed with his excellent jumping technique and pedigree.Complete kopgroep

At positions four through seven, we find first the long-lined, powerful Verdi-son Lay Out (from Valley Roos elite PROK from Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, breeders J.J. and J.H. Ilbrink-Lueks from Barchem), registered with Jan van Meever, followed by the Arezzo-son Larezzo (out of Erusa ster EPTM-spr D-OC of Diamant de Semilly, breeder E. Reysink of Diessen) of VDL Stud that showed beautiful jumping technique. In sixth was the well jumping Kannan-son Lovekey SR (out of Zereusa S elite IBOP-spr sport-jump pref PROK from Hors la Loi II, breeders Erik and Josje Sleutels from Roggel) registered with Combination Aaldering-Swelheim and in seventh the youthful, appealing Grandorado TN-son Lucky Luck (from Cannie Z stb-ext from Canabis Z) registered with his breeder Johan Jonker from Hattem.
