First dressage day yields 33 appointed stallions
An enthusiastic crowd and good dressage stallions ensured a vibrant atmosphere and an impressive score of 33 stallions for the Performance Test. Four of them are invited for the championships round.
Bordeaux left a clear mark today by providing five offspring for the performance test in Ermelo. Amongst them the impressive Le Formidable (out of Vienna elite pref prest PROK s.Ferro, bred and owned by Saskia Poel), that turned out to be the absolute crowd pleaser. The jury showed their appreciation through an invite to the grand finale: the championships round tomorrow. Grand Galaxy Win saw four of his sons get selected for the performance test and Lennox W (out of Herarona elite IBOP-dres d-oc by Rousseau, bred and owned by Bas Wilschut) may come back for the championships round. Young stallions as Glamourdale (2), Governor (3) and Gotcha-Utopia (2) had multiple sons appointed. Governor produced last year’s champion and now he has another son in the race for the title, the convincing Lugano (out if Ekaterina elite IBOP-dres sport-dres prok by Johnson, bred by P. Buwalda). Also World Champion Glamourdale, who will make his appearance at the KWPN Stallion Show tonight, is represented in the championships round: Lance V.O.D. (out of Heliana V.O.D. elite IBOP-dres Prok by Davino V.O.D., bred and owned by Ad van Os) is one to watch.
