Celebrating its fortieth birthday this year, Foal Auction Borculo kicks off the anniversary year vigorously with the first edition of the brand-new Borculo Online Foal Auction. This online auction, from April 26 till 29 on www.veulenveilingborculo.nl, offers buyers the unique opportunity to acquire genetically exquisite foals born early in the year that will be too old once the August auction takes place. As is customary for Foal Auction Borculo, the selection committees for both jumping and dressage have made a strict selection in terms of movement, model and sport performance in the dam lines. This resulted in a wonderful and limited collection of four jumping foals and six dressage foals.

Totilas & Grand Galaxy Win
Looking at the collections up close, we notice the abundance of Grand Prix genes in the dressage foals (4 colts, 2 fillies), on the sire side as well as the dam side. This goes for the Totilas x Negro filly just as much as the Escolar x Belissimo M colt. The collection also holds a daughter of Glock’s Toto Jr. out of Grand Galaxy Win’s sister, a son of Fürstenball from a very strong branch of the world-famous Dodona stem, a son of Jarville from the direct line of the well-known broodmare Murona and last but not least a black eye-catcher out of a For Romance II x De Niro combination.

Van ’t Roosakker genes & Sina stem
They meet their equals in the exceptional jumping foals (2 colts, 2 mares) presented. The sons of the wonderful BWP stallion Halifax van het Kluizenbos (Lorenzo de Luca) and Kassander van ’t Roosakker (Gregory Wathelet) both have dams, by Zirocco Blue VDL and Verdi TN respectively, that are a sister to eight international jumping horses. The two genetically exceptional fillies lead us to Colman combined with a very strong branch of the famous Sina stem on the one hand and Olympic stallion Apardi combined with Etoulon VDL’s sister on the other.

A month later, on 24th May, it’s time for the second edition of Borculo CSI Foal Auction (jumping foals) during Jumping Schröder Tubbergen. We close off the 2019 auction season with the well-known Elite Auction Borculo that has been on the agenda since 1979. This takes place Wednesday 28th August (jumping foals) and Thursday 29th at the appealing Paardensportcentrum Lichtenvoorde location in the town of Vragender.
