Good first impression of the jumper stallions and two new dressage stallions in Ermelo
The eighteen jumper stallions that started the spring performance test last week were assessed by the jumping stallion inspection committee for the first time this Monday. Last Friday morning Wout-Jan van der Schans supervised the first training on fences by the stallions.
This week’s assessment consisted of a cross with a trot pole, a short line and one loose standing oxer from canter. The stallions left a positive impression, they all let themselves being ridden well.
Two dressage stallions were again presented by two other riders than last week, due to a fall of their riders during the first delivery moment. This were Louis ter Kwincke (Easy Game out of D'Eerd ter Kwincke elite EPTM-dres PROK D-OC from Damon Hill, breeder A.J.L. Slippens from Erp) and King van het Haarbosch (Spielberg out of Gina elite IBOP-dres PROK from Florencio, breeder L. van Barges from Wintelre)
Both stallions showed that they are well trainable and they also received the green light from the veterinary, after which they also started the performance test which brought the total number of dressage stallions to thirteen.
