In two weeks the KWPN Stallion Show 2020 will start. From January 29 until February 1 the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch are completely in the light of the KWPN-stallions. There is being revealed more about the program, which promises spectacular highlights, also the time schedule is known.

At this fantastic event, not only the best stallions will show themselves to the audience, but you will also meet people with passion for the KWPN-horse. All breeding directions are represented and the visitor is treated to a varied program every day. The first two days, Wednesday January 29 and Thursday January 30, the show jumping lovers are in their element. On Friday January 31 the dressage and Gelder stallion will enter the arena, on Saturday the dressage stallions are present again and also the harness horses will make their appearance.

A look behind the scenes
Willem Greve and Sjaak Sleiderink give a clinic on Thursday evening with two young horses of the SFN (Show-jumper Fund Netherlands). A look behind the scenes in the education of young show jumpers. Later that evening Willem Greve will ride with the stallions Highway M TN and Grandorado TN in the combined 1.40/1.50m class.

GLOCK stallions in the shows
After the fantastic Black Magic Show last year with legend Totilas, Team GLOCK contributes to the KWPN Stallion Show again in 2020. Hans Peter Minderhoud and Edward Gal perform together with other members of the team that won silver at the European Championships on Friday, also on Saturday these two GLOCK-members will provide a show with their talents. Which of their horses they will show is still a surprise. And as the name of the show already indicates ‘Edward en Hans Peter call it a day’, this is the final show of the KWPN Stallion Show 2020.

Helgstrand to ‘s-Hertogenbosch
Before we close of the KWPN Stallion Show on Friday evening, Team Helgstrand will come to the Brabanthallen to show their talents to the audience. Andreas Helgstrand will give a clinic with world champion Jovian (s.Apache)! Besides this the Gelder stallion Kardieno (s.Dante Weltino) will be presented in a separate show by Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard and Bettina Jäger will ride in the VHO Trophy with KWPN-stallion Franklin.

Jazz in memorian
The Friday evening program has more in store for the dressage lover. This evening we honor the legendary stallion Jazz, who recently passed away at the age of 29-years-old and is still of great influence in the dressage sport and breeding nowadays. What this show will look like will be announced soon!

Road to Grand Prix
Breeding is about the new stars of the future, but who are these promises for the future? In two shows on Friday evening several KWPN-stallions who are on their way to the Grand Prix level will be showed! Who these stallions are is still a surprise…

Pavo Cup winners
The winners of the Pavo-Cup from past summer will perform on Saturday February 1st. With guidance of Johan Hamminga the horses will be presented to you, among which Keano RS2 with Marieke van der Putten, Jonny Depp with Renate van Uytert- van Vliet. Bart Veeze will ride reserve champion Imagine, because he already participates in the final of the Stallion Competition with Imposantos.

Friesian horses provide a show
On Saturday afternoon five Friesian horses will give a show. The four KFPS studbook stallions Elias 49, Eise 489, Wylster 463 and Nane 492 show the diversity of the Friesian horse tot he audience together with Limited Edition.
