Grandorado TN triumphs in VHO Trophy
Willem Greve finished his Thursday night at the KWPN Stallion Show in style. On Grandorado TN he was victorious in the 1.40/1.50m VHO Trophy, besting his other ride Highway TN in second place.
The level was high in the VHO Trophy, where ten combinations reached the competitive jump-off. Willem Greve and his Highway M TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Zelana V reg.A PROK by Chellano Z, bred by P. Verdellen Paarden Fok & Opfok uit Horst) were the first to start and immediately set a fast time. This time was beat by three stallions, but they all knocked down a pole along the way. As the last starter Willem entered the ring once more with Grandorado TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Charmieque elite EPTM-spr IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK by Carolus II, bred by M. Rietberg and D.J. Verhoeven from Holten). He succeeded to best his own time and remain clear over 1.50m. Grandorado TN thus wins the VHO Trophy 2020.
The Eldorado van de Zeshoek-blood was successful in the VHO Trophy. Ridden by Ben Schröder, his son Grodino (out of Sorina stb prest PROK by Celano, bred by J. van Loon from Valkenswaard) jumped to the third place. Hermantico (Comme Il Faut out of Chiquitita by Colbert GTI, bred by M. Renzel from Oer-Erkenschwick) and Rachel Steffen claimed the fourth position, ahead of the quickest 4-faulters: Maikel van der Vleuten and Edinburgh (Vleut out of Olympic Queen keur prest sport-spr by Darco, bred by G. Lindeboom and E.J. Meijer from Dalfsen).
