Ten 4-year-old and thirteen 3-year-old dressage horses complete the collection of the Black Horses Auction. All 40 horses for the online auction of Saturday 1 August can be found on the auction website. After the previously published sporthorses and broodmares, Black Horses Stud has added 23 more dressage talents to the auction collection. Promising 4-year-old dressage horses under saddle, interestingly bred 3-year-old stallions out of the best damlines and several talented sporthorses for the future.

The 14 unbroken horses out of the Black Horses Auction are still true rough diamonds. "About three weeks ago, these young dressage horses came out of the group stalls," says Jasper van der Waaij, who prepared the unbroken horses at Waaij Stud for the photo / video day. “These horses have been raised excellently, but were still relatively unhandled. In three weeks they are now good to handle and ready to start their training. For those interested, it is important to know that these unbroken horses are therefore presented almost untrained - they are still as green as grass”, Jasper van der Waaij explains.

Under the saddle & on the lunge
The 9 newly published ridden sporthorses have been broken in this spring and only continued their training at Stoeterij Black Horses a few weeks ago. That is why it was decided to show these horses not only under the saddle, but also on the lunge. “We try to provide as much information as possible for potential customers. This also gives the horses a fair chance to show their qualities”, says manager Carlo van Kaathoven.

For Romance I stallion out of sister Olympic champion Desperados FRH
The 3-year-old group consists of a number of exceptional talents, both for sport and breeding. Take, for example, Momance BH - a son of For Romance I out of the half-sister of Kristina Bröring-Sprehe's Olympic champion Desperados FRH. “In terms of pedigree and talent for movement, Momance BH has the potential to become an approved stallion and his model is also excellent,” says Van Kaathoven.

Another star in the making is the Indian Rock son Most Loved Rock BH - bred out of the Briar daughter Catalpa BH and thus a descendant of the Zinni van Wittenstein line. “Most Loved Rock BH moves fantastically; he has a lot of balance and a great leg technique”, says Van Kaathoven. Furthermore, the group of 3-year-olds consists of interesting stallions and mares sired by for example Damon Hill and De Niro out of various excellent damlines. Of course the Endy line is represented, but also the line of Charites, the Reina-damline and the Utopia-damline are included in the collection.

Half-sister to Zuidenwind, granddaughter KWPN National Mare Champion Pabola
The group of 4-year-olds under saddle also contains a number of promising dressage horses for the future. For example the excellently moving Labella BH - a daughter of Dorado out of the Jazz mare A-Flieka. Or the rough diamond Liba BH - a mare by Hogan and granddaughter of the KWPN National Mare Champion Pabola. But also the Forty daughter Lolita BH - the half-sister of the KWPN approved Grand Prix stallion Zuidenwind, the Grand Prix dressage horse Bon Passa, the Intermediaire II horse Wish and the Prix St. Georges classified Amoor.
