For a long time, Pedro Veniss seemed headed for a 0 result with the KWPN-recognized Quabri de l’Isle, but in the last line they noted five penalties.

Nevertheless, a great result for the seasoned combination, joining the Olympic Games for the second time. In Tokyo, this was their first ride as they did not participate in the individual competition. The 17-year-old Quabri de l’Isle (Kannan out of Dinastie de L’Isle by Socrate de Chivre, bred by M. Etienne Poisson) is up for his fourth major championships in Tokyo. He earlier represented Brazil at the World Equestrian Games in Caen, the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro and the Kentucky World Equestrian Games. Together with the incredible clear round of teammate Marlon Zanotelli and VDL Edgar M (s.Arezzo VDL), Brazil records 5 penalties after two riders.
