At the end of this stallion selection, inspector Viggon van Beest and chairman of the stallion selection harness horse Lammert Tel indicated to be proud of the appointed stallion and especially of the premium stallions. Tel: “A premium stallion must stand out above the rest and they did.”

Lammert Tel: “You always want more, but a harness horse has to remain a harness horse, that was our approach. This should be possible; only the best is good enough. In a small breeding direction such as the harness horse we do not need large numbers. The five-year-old stallion already performed well at the harness competitions. We are looking forward to the performances of these stallions in the performance test in autumn. It’s about performance and sport.” Viggon is also pleased with today’s score, but notes that it does not include any stallions with a low degree of relatedness. None of the stallions have a degree of kinship lower than 10%, but Viggon emphasizes there are plenty possibilities left to be appointed in another way, for example for ster stallions, and that may result in more stallions with unique bloodlines.
