NC ZZ-Zwaar: Kyton (s.Ferguson) grabs the lead
After the top position in the first test of the Small Tour class, Bart Veeze propelled to the opening win at ZZ-Zwaar level. He saddled his KWPN-stallion Kyton (s.Ferguson) for this class, who now leads a stallion-dominated top-five.
Kyton (Ferguson uit Wilbria keur IBOP-dr pref v.Ferro, fokker W.J.J. Goesten) gathered 74.380% for his ZZ-Zwaar test, thereby securing the top position in the intermediate rankings. Marieke van der Putten followed in less than half-a-percent margin on the at AES and Westfalen approved Kuvasz RS2 (studbook name Kanjer DDH RS2, s.Glamourdale out of Dyor de Hus elite PROK IBOP-dr pref s.De Niro, bred by Havikerwaard Stud) at 73.904%.
Johnny Depp & Just Wimphof place third and fourth
Renate van Uytert-van Vliet claimed both the third and fourth rank. The first spot being taken by the KWPN-recognized Johnny Depp (Bordeaux out of Wiana ster voorl. keur pref prest s.Jazz, bred by J.A. & B. Naber) with 73.047%. The KWPN-approved Just Wimphof (De Niro out of Rastede elite PROK IBOP-dr sport-dr pref s.Riccione, bred by C. Rienks-Kramer) moved to 72.285%.
Improver VDT also qualifies for final
The best ten combinations placed themselves for the final on Sunday. Then the riders battle for the medals in a freestyle to music. Remy Bastins qualified through a seventh place aboard the KWPN-approved Improver VDT (Apache out of Velvet V.D.T. elite D-OC pref prest s.Ferro, breeder A. Van de Tillaart).
