The KWPN Championships including Pavo Cup are held at the National Equestrian Centre in Ermelo from the 3rd until the 6th of August. August 3, we kick off with the information-inspection KWPN/PRE/Lusitano-crossbreeds. Friday August 5 follows the thrilling conclusion to the inspection season. On this day, that completely revolves around breeding, the program includes the National Mare Championships and the National Foal Championships for the Virbac Foal Trophy in the breeding directions jumping, dressage and Gelder foals. The harness horse foals also make their appearance that day, in the Open National Foal Inspection.

All classes scheduled in the main ring are again broadcasted live at KWPN.tv. Free jumping can also be followed live via KWPN.tv. Rewatch the videos afterwards is only available for KWPN members. 

Blom Cup and Pavo Cup

Thursday August 4 is centered around the talented four-, five-, and six-year-old dressage horses that compete for a coveted spot in the finals. On august 6th, Sven Rothenberger, Eva Möller and Bart Bax judge the four-, five-, and six-year-old horses in the Pavo Cup finals. The Blom Cup is organised at Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard from Monday the 29th to Wednesday the 31st of August. Both the Blom Cup and the Pavo Cup are broadcasted live at KWPN.tv.

Harness horse day

The week after, Saturday August 13, Lunteren forms the backdrop of the Harness horse Festival of the Year. The National Harness Horse Day forms the final of the mare inspection season, at which the very best mares compete for the championship titles. Other highlights are the various in-harness classes, the elections Harness Horse Breeder of the Year and Harness Horse of the Year. Not to mention, the Final of the Nationals, in which the title Top sport mare of the Year for the Greet Bergstra Trophy is up for grabs. The National Harness Horse Day can also be followed live via KWPN.tv.

Offspring inspection

The offspring inspection, in which various collections foals of recently approved dressage stallions are presented, is . The offspring inspection was originally planned for Wednesday the 3rd of August, however it is not possible to organise the inspection on this date due to unforeseen circumstances. The offspring inspections is therefore rescheduled to Thursday the 1st of September and can also be followed the livestream.
