Starting list semi-final Pavo Cup online
The starting lists for the semi-final of the Pavo Cup have been published. Thursday the 4th of August, the best young dressage horses of the Netherlands compete for the Pavo Cup. It promises to be an interesting competition as breeders can compare the various KWPN stallions with their peers and the jury includes some new names as well.
Four-year-olds
Among the four-year-olds we will see nine KWPN stallions. Next Romancier (s.Fürst Romancier) and Number Two (s.Just Wimphof) will be presented by the young riders Robin Heiden and Jill Bogers. Sem Stiemer rides the Totilas-son Nixon. Additionally, Blue Hors Farrel-son New Orleans van de Dalhoeve, Night Shadow (s.Guardian S), Neil (s.Governor), Nirvano (s.For Ferrero) and New Dreams (s.Jervaux) will make an appearance. The jury is comprised of Veronique Roerink and horse dealer and commission agent Matty Marissink.
Stallion selection
The five-year-olds are judged by Marian Dorresteijn and Marie-Louise Moerings. In this category we get to enjoy the KWPN-stallions Bloomberg (s.Bon Coeur), My Blue Hors Santiano (s.Sezuan), Mowgli V.O.D. (s.Desperado), Galleria’s Mister Masreati (s.Glock’s Toto Jr.) and Mister Diamond (s.Sir Donnerhall). The Gelder stallion Mexpression (s.Expression) also competes in this class. Moreover, this age category will include a high number of stallions that participate in the context of the stallion selection.
30 six-year-olds
The jury for the six-year-olds is composed of Gerdine Marée and Joyce van Rooijen-Heuitink. A total of 30 six-year-olds are expected to perform. Among them is the KWPN stallion Lennox U.S. (s.Grand Galaxy Win) that is fresh off the heels of the EC for Junior riders where he and rider Jill Bogers was the best Dutch combination. We furthermore see the former champion of the KWPN Stallion Show, Le Formidable (s.Bordeaux) ridden by his owner Saskia Poel, as well as the Zonik-offspring Ladignac with Renate van Uytert.

Thursday the 4th of August, the KWPN Championships kick off at 09.00hrs. Entrance is free and we hope to welcome you in Ermelo. The Pavo Cup can also be watched live at KWPN.tv.
