Ostara ST-J lives up to expectations and wins title
The Jansen family had this coveted title on their wish list for a long time already and their Dream Boy-offspring Ostara ST-J turned that dream into reality today.
Toine Hoefs, Johan Hamminga and Floor Dröge invited fourteen mares to the final of this class as it formed a wonderful conclusion to this crowded day in Ermelo.
Big round of applause
The crowd-pleaser also turned out to be the jury’s favorite. Dream Boy-daughter Ostara ST-J (out of Havana elite EPTM-dres PROK by Totilas) of Grietje and Hans Jansen and their daughter Welmoed Jansen. In July, she was announced champion of the Central Inspection of Brabant and today she continued that winning streak. “A beautifully modeled mare that moves uphill. She walks very well, moves with ample freedom in the shoulder and a strong use of the hind leg. A true champion!”, enthuses Toin Hoefs.
Vice-champion was All At Once-daughter Once For All Swing (out of Zuchero Swing elite IBOP-dres sport-dres D-OC by Krack C, bred by J.P. Eschauzier and E. Schreutelkamp of Epe) of K. Ridderhof-Pols of Emst. The third position was taken by O.Cynola M (Ferdaux out of Cynola M elite IBOP-dres pref PROK by Flemmingh, bred by J. Mol of Diepenheim) of B. Conn of Tonisvorst.
