The clock has struck 10 and that means the sixth KWPN Online Foal Auction of 2022 has opened. Up till 20.00 hours on Monday September 26 it is possible to place your bid on one or more foals out of this collection. 

During the photo and video day, all foals have been inspected by a KWPN inspector, while a veterinarian was present to perform a clinical examination. The foals have therefore been selected on health and a correct conformation, a solid foundation for a successful future.

Successful dam lines

As usual, the foals in the sixth collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction have been bred out of performance dam lines. The fillies Stella (Lord Romantic x Maestro) and Shirah (Las Vegas x Bodyguard) both originate from a successful dam line. Both the dam, granddam and great-granddam of Sunday (s.Ferguson) have foaled a PSG/Inter I horse. The granddam of Skye Liberty (s.Fontaine TN) also proved her breeding qualities. She already produced two PSG/Inter I offspring, one of which was appointed to the KWPN Performance Test. Surprice (s.Livius) is related to the GP horse Famous Grez Neuville (s.Negro). On the paternal side we also find successes. Sing Ina (Next Level x Desperado), Sunrise van de Westen (Next Level x Governor) and Second Level (Next Level x Everdale) are all sired by the KWPN premium stallion Next Level. Smirnoff (v.First Date) is an offspring of one of the eye-catchers of the 2019 KWPN Stallion Show. 

Related to KWPN-approved stallions

In addition to the jumper and dressage specialists, enthusiasts of a future all-round sport horse will also find something to their liking in this collection. The foal Shamelesss (s.Barton VDL) descends from a solid dam line filled with jumper genes. He is the full cousin of the KWPN-approved Chacco Boy (s.Chacco-Blue) and closely related to the KWPN-approved stallions Escada XVII (s.Chacco-Blue) and H.Emeralda (s.Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof). The colt by San Luzio (s.Novian) has the same granddam as the 1.60m jumper Virtual Shadow D (s.Oramé) and is related to the KWPN-approved stallions Bacardi VDL (s.Corland) and Apardi (s.Corland). Other relatives of approved stallions are Silas S (s.Spielberg) and Shadow (s.Fontaine TN). Shadow is family of the KWPN-approved stallion Cosmos (s.Legaat), Riverman (s.Kenwood), and Innocent (s.Zambesi TN). Superstitious CFH is related to the approved stallion Ouverture (s.Jazz) while Sweet Caroline (s.For Ferrero) is family of the second-round-viewing stallion Giant (s.Uphill). 

Strong collection jumper foals

Performance genes are also amply present in the jumper foal collection. The dam lines of Sir Thomas Utopia (s.Justice HL), Sofie van Berghem (s.Opium JW van de Moerhoeve), Surprice T (s.Connect) and Soendola B (s.Diarado) are overflowing with sport. The dam of Salvador (s.Eldorado van de Zeshoek) already produced two 1.40m horses and his granddam foaled the approved stallion Riant (s.Jazz). Sunnyboy van de Schimmelstal (s.Justice HL) also has a successful granddam, she produced a 1.60m showjumper and approved stallion. The filly Sarah (s.Mattias) is related to the 1.60m horse Ermis (s.Formateurs) and Supreme Issue (s.Edingburgh) descends from a dam line that brought forth multiple sport horses, including a 1.45m and CCI3* horse. The granddam of Sjinky van de Zwethove (s.Pegase van ‘t Ruytershof) produced a lot of sport and his great-granddam even foaled two 1.60m jumpers. Santos (s.Sam R) is related to the approved stallion Wapita (s.Pilatus). In addition to solid dam lines, the paternal lineages are equally promising. The young stallion Mindset ES, who triumphed in the Blom Stallion Competition earlier this year, also supplies a foal to the collection. The rising star Opium adds another offspring of his.
