Provisional count: 58 dressage stallions to second round viewing
The fourth day of the first round viewing has already come to an end. Twelve stallions, primarily sons of young sires, could be added to the collection that heads for the second round viewing.
The stallions Jameson RS2, Kilian and Lantanas will be represented by multiple descendants in Den Bosch. “We have seen a large group of offspring out of the first crop of Jameson RS2 today. The first crops are always interesting, but this group gave us plenty of choice and we selected the three most complete stallions for the second round”, chairman Bert Rutten shares. “It allowed us to stay the course, basing our selection on a correct conformation, size and height, an athletic use of the body and three solid gaits. Definitely a nice couple of stallions to take to the second round viewing.” Tomorrow marks the last regular day of the first round viewing for dressage stallions. So far, 58 stallions have earned an invite to the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch.
