No less than four out of five prizes in the 1.20m class were claimed by KWPN stallions. The KWPN-approved Stargos VDL (Stakkato Gold out of Estella sport-spr by Conthargos, bred by W. Winkeler of Herzlake GER) was piloted to the win by Iris Hakvoort. A time of 31.87 seconds was not only the fastest of their own class, but also of the 1.30/1.35m class that was ridden in De Meern earlier that night. 

The top-three consists of the same combinations that made the podium in the stallion competition of Kronenberg in November. Stargos VDL and Iris Hakvoort also placed first in their class back then. Ridden by Mart IJland, the KWPN stallion Mees vd Watermolen (Vannan out of Holinda ster by Carambole, bred by J.W. Greve of Haaksbergen) again emerged as runner-up, clearing the course in a time of 34,29 seconds. In third was another KWPN stallion, the happy athlete Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur out of Hosanne ES keur sport-spr pref by Kannan, bred by E. Schep of Tull en ‘t Waal). Rider Jarno van Erp crossed the finish line at 35,37 seconds. Wim Vinkx and Zoriano (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) placed fourth, the pair performed a clear round in 35,56 seconds. The KWPN stallion Mcallister VDL (Inaico VDL out of Zoklahoma VDL ster pref prest by Emilion, breeder VDL Stud of Bear) was fifth with Wesley de Boer in a time of 35,99 seconds.
