Six stallions head to the final presentation

Today both stallion selection committees met in Ermelo for the evaluation of the stallions participating in the spring performance test. One dressage stallion and five jumping stallions will proceed to the final presentation this coming Saturday.

KWPN approves showjumping stallion Diachron for breeding

The KWPN has approved the sixteen-year-old international showjumping stallion Diachron for breeding. The stallion selection committee for jumping evaluated the stallion, bred by Paul Schockemöhle, and gave a positive recommendation for approval. The KWPN Board has formalized this recognition.

Performance Test Starts with Eight Stallions

Six jumper stallions and two dressage stallions were successfully presented today for the spring performance test. The final presentation is scheduled for March 14.

Deifeldt’s King van de Landhorst approved

The Grand Prix stallion Deifeldt’s King van de Landhorst has been approved for the Gelder breeding direction. The Gelder horse stallion selection committee is positive about the stallion bred by F.J.M. Beurksen from Didam, and the KWPN General Board has now formally confirmed the approval.

In the run-up to the KWPN Stallion Show 2026, the groups for the second round viewing of the dressage and Gelder stallions has been published. These second round viewings will take place during the four-day breeding and sport event at the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

Under the Norwegian rider Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer, the KSS stallion Leonardo Da Vinci J.P.P. (K.I. Parrandero out of Holisca J.P.P. elite EPTM-spr PROK sport-spr by I’m Special de Muze) is currently making a positive impression in international show jumping. The now ten-year-old stallion jumped his first 5* 1.50m course last month in La Coruña, Spain.

The countdown to the KWPN Stallion Show 2026 has begun. During this four-day breeding and sport event at the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the second round viewing of the show jumper stallions is also on the program. The groups has now been published.

Eleven Harness Horse Stallions referred to ’s-Hertogenbosch

Besides the various attractive shows, which also featured the well-preserved grandmaster and preferent stallion Cizandro, the three-year-old stallions were also presented in IJsselmuiden. They were divided into six groups and appeared before a packed grandstand and three judges.

Re-inspection brings Total to 97 dressage stallions

A total of 97 dressage stallions have been invited to the KWPN Stallion Show, including 13 stallions that were selected today during the re-inspection of the first round viewing powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten. Several offspring of young stallions received the green light today.

The total number of selected jumping stallions for the second round viewing has reached 91. Following today’s re-inspection, sons of Emerald, Chatinue and Cash and Carry were added.

Third day brings total to 88 jumper stallions

The regular first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, was concluded today with a positive feeling and 33 selected jumper stallions. The re-inspection will take place on 23 December.

The fourth day of the first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, may not have been the most convincing in terms of overall quality, but it still resulted in eleven stallions being selected for ’s-Hertogenbosch.

Following the dressage stallions at the first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, it was time for the Gelder stallions. The stallion selection committee was able to invite four stallions to ’s-Hertogenbosch.

After Three Days, 48 Dressage Stallions Selected

On the third day of the first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, 18 dressage stallions were selected, including several sons of Olympic stallions.

After two days of the first round viewing, the total number of selected dressage stallions stands at 30. Among today’s selected horses were sons of Jovian, Dream Boy and Easy Game.

The first viewing started off well today in Ermelo. Of the 26 presented dressage stallions, 12 have been selected for the next inspection round.

KWPN Breeding Approval for Two KSS Stallions

Today, the autumn performance test concluded, resulting in approval for two talented stallions that were sold at the KWPN Stallion Show through the KWPN Select Sale.
