KSS: Record Price of €345,000 for Champion Stallion Tony Gold
The KWPN Select Sale was the final program item of the KWPN Stallion Show, and it certainly did not go out quietly. For a record-breaking price of €345,000, the newly crowned champion stallion and wildcard Tony Gold (s.Glock’s Toto Jr.) was sold.

Magnifiek wins Oregon Trophy for the fourth time
On Saturday afternoon, the grandstands of the KWPN Stallion Show trembled with enthusiasm during the ever-spectacular Oregon Trophy, which was contested for the 28th time this year. Gelder horse Ojee-B wins Stallion Competition
Today, the winner of the Gelder Stallion Competition was also honoured during the ‘Gelder horse block’. The stallion won all three competitions in Peelbergen, IJsselmuiden and Groningen and once again delivered an impressive performance with Anouk Slabbers in the saddle: Ojee-B (s.Ibsen B).

Gelder stallion Upperville posthumously awarded keur status
It is, of course, most special when a stallion is still alive at the moment, he is awarded the keur predicate, but sometimes granting the predicate posthumously is the only way to honour a stallion. On the third day of the KWPN Stallion Show, the Gelder stallion Upperville (s.Cabochon) was awarded the keur predicate.

Last year, the number of Gelder horse stallions was extremely limited. This year, however, there was a strong crop, with no fewer than four of the five stallions presented for the second inspection being selected for the performance test, crowned by the impressive and very complete champion Tobias.

The Grand Prix stallion Deifeldt’s King van de Landhorst has been approved for the Gelder breeding direction. The Gelder horse stallion selection committee is positive about the stallion bred by F.J.M. Beurksen from Didam, and the KWPN General Board has now formally confirmed the approval.

Top talent Party In De Hus impresses in the VHO Trophy
The VHO Trophy provided an exciting conclusion to Thursday evening at the KWPN Stallion Show. The nine-year-old Party In De Hus, ridden by Willem Greve, outperformed a strong and high-quality field of stallions. Party In De Hus is a son of Kannan, who was named Jumping Horse of the Year earlier that evening.
