From 9 through 17 December, the KWPN centre in Ermelo will once again host the first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten. Among the dressage stallions, Extreme U.S. is the clear leader, presenting fifteen offspring. The group lists are available online.

Performance Test Continues with 14 Jumper Stallions

For three jumper stallions the performance test has been ended, while other jumper stallions have been referred to the spring test. As a result, 14 jumper stallions will continue in the test.

Johnson leads the WBFSH sire ranking once again

For the fourth consecutive year, the KWPN stallion Johnson tops the WBFSH Sire Ranking. Dutch bloodlines are especially well represented in the dressage ranking, with no fewer than eight KWPN-approved or -recognized dressage stallions appearing in the top 10. The KWPN-recognized (and KWPN-bred) Kannan proves his strength once again, placing second in the jumping ranking and seventh in the eventing ranking.

How many performance mares are there?

​Sport and breeding are increasingly going hand in hand. In this context, the performance predicate, or prestatie predicate in Dutch, has become highly valuable for a broodmare, as it indicates her ability to pass on athletic qualities to her offspring. To date, only a select group of just over 8,000 mares has ever been awarded this predicate, making it a true hallmark of quality within breeding.

Performance test starts with 12 dressage stallions

In addition to the 19 jumper stallions, 12 dressage stallions have taken up stables at the KWPN Centre. One dressage stallion has been referred, and the test has been terminated for two others.

The saddle presentation and delivery of the jumper stallions went smoothly today in Ermelo. Five four-year-olds and fourteen three-year-olds have taken up stables at the KWPN Centre.
