In Belgium's 1.50m Grand Prix of Bonheiden, eight combinations qualified for the jump-off, among them Harrie Smolders with the KWPN jumper Exquis Powerfee (Fedor out of Toverfee prest by Erdball, breeder: P.L. van der Voort of Pijnacker). In the jump-off, the two Dutch duos not only stayed clear but also clocked the fastest- and second fastest times. Smolders emerged the winner with Exquis Powerfee (s.Fedor), taking home €16,500, while Eric van der Vleuten finished second with Baranus (s.Balou du Rouet), earning €10,000. Third place was for Brazil's Thiago Ribas da Costa with Entre Nous (s.Conan Z). Rabo Talent Team member Dennis van den Brink also excelled, placing 11th with the 10-year-old keur mare Royal Dream (keur sport-jump s.Indoctro out of Karmette pref by Nimmerdor, breeder: P. van Eik of Bakkeveen) after acquiring four jumping faults.
