At the five-star show in St. Tropez, Zerlin M (s.Berlin) was good advertising for Stal Schep of Etten-Leur, owned by Egbert Schep. The stallion ended third under Marlon Zanotelli in the Grand Prix and second in the 1.50m. In addition, Stal Schep's young talents won classes in the four-, five-, and six-year-old divisions.

Formerly ridden by Jos Lansink, Zerlin M (selected, Berlin out of Tatjana Bo ster s.Concorde, breeder: A. de Jong of Wouwse Plantage) is now excelling under Brazil's Marlon Zanotelli, as was evident again in Saint Tropez. On Thursday, the duo convincingly claimed second place in the 1.50m, finishing behind Abdelkebir Ouaddar with Quickly de Kreisker (s.Diamant de Semilly). The following day, Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani was second in the 1.50m with Anyway II (No Limit out of Liberte s.Farmer, breeder: G. Peeters of Egchel). Ben Maher likewise avoided faults with his talented jumper Boomerang (Orlando out of Topsi s.Lux, breeder: Arie Pluim of Harskamp) and finished in fifth place, just ahead of Laura Kraut with the Harley VDL son Constable II (out of Weihaiwej VBN prok s.Lupicor, breeder: G.H.J. Kamphuis of Oldenzaal), who also acquired four faults in the jump-off. The Grand Prix at Saint Tropez ended in victory for Marco Kutscher with Cornet’s Cristallo (s.Cornet Obolensky). Third place was for Marlon Zanotelli with Zerlin M (s.Berlin), who jumped two clear rounds, clocking a time close to Kutscher's.
