Premium stallion Simply The Best makes his breeders proud
One of the stallions invited to the championship round is Simply the Best, a son of Ferguson, bred by Anton van Ballegooijen and co-registered with Trainingsstal Witte-Scholtens.
For Anton and Anneke van Ballegooijen, the KWPN Stallion Show has already become an unforgettable event. Their promising Simply the Best (Ferguson x Imagine elite EPTM-dres sport-dres D-OC by Dream Boy) was not only selected for the performance test but will also return tomorrow for the championship round. "This is amazing! He already showed himself brilliantly in the first round viewing, and we have high expectations for him. This morning, I felt he was a bit impressed by the atmosphere here, but fortunately, he managed to convince once again," Anton responded. Together with his wife Anneke, he bred Simply the Best out of their self-bred Grand Prix mare Imagine. "Simply has inherited a lot of great qualities from his dam. She competes at Grand Prix level with our rider Jeroen van Eck and showed exceptional talent as a three-year-old in her mare performance test, scoring 85.5 points. Our Jeroen trains with Emmelie, which led us to Jeroen Witte, who has been preparing Simply the Best for the stallion inspection. He is exceptional at what he does and pays close attention to his stallions, as he doesn’t train a large number at once. On top of that, Jeroen is very selective. After working with our stallion for a while, Jeroen suggested becoming a co-owner, which to us is the greatest proof of his trust in Simply the Best. We are really excited to see how things go in the championship round tomorrow and look forward to his future development," says the enthusiastic breeder.
