Two NMK mares up for auction in KWPN Online Auction
Today, the collection for the upcoming KWPN Online Auction of dressage horses has been presented. Several mares have already impressed at the mare inspections earlier this summer. Among them are Siana V.O.D. (s.Life Time FRH), and Sarona H (s.Glock’s Toto Jr.), both selected to take part in the National Mare Championship (NMK). The collection is packed with talent and proven performance bloodlines. Bidding for the 15 dressage talents will be open from the 1st until the 4th of August.
Over the past years, the KWPN Auctions platform has evolved into an international stage where breeders and buyers frequently connect. This Friday, two of the auction mares will appear in the ring at the National Mare Championship in Ermelo.
Grand Prix genes
This collection features a range of genetically exceptional mares. NMK mare Siana V.O.D., a daughter of World Champion Life Time FRH, is a half-sister to the KWPN-approved stallion Purple Rain. Her dam Iana V.O.D. is a full sister to two-time World Champion Kjento, who recently made a successful Grand Prix debut. Also originating from an outstanding damline is Solange Esther SVN (s.Sir Donnerhall I). Her dam Esther SVN competed in the international U25 Grand Prix classes with Marijke van Giesen and is a full sister to Olympic dressage horse Brother de Jeu. This makes Solange Esther SVN closely related to (U25) Grand Prix horses such as Asther de Jeu and Zafriq de Jeu as well. The four-year-old Reggaetime (s.Fürst Dior) is a granddaughter of the highly influential mare Ulocia, who produced no fewer than four Grand Prix horses: Glamour Time, Blacktime, Chacha Time, and In Time. And let’s not forget NMK mare Sarona H (s.Glock’s Toto Jr.), who is closely related to Grand Prix horses such as Silvano 71, Dazzling W, and Neoliet on the dam’s side.
