Vivian Rona led the foal class at the National Day of the Gelders Horse and easily retained her title at the National Foal Championship.

Vivian Rona is a daughter of Odeer out of the National Foal Champion and preliminary keur mare Joanne Rona (by Alexandro P). She was bred and is registered by Jan Vonk from Goudriaan. He explains: "Another offspring out of Rona has already become a National Champion - this Jupiler S son is currently being raised at Marcel van Bruggen’s. Vivian Rona showed herself really well today, which is always something you have to wait and see when you let them loose. When it comes to performance, Vivian Rona is a true Gelder horse - very gentle in handling but fully present when she needs to be." Marloes described Vivian Rona as a generously developed foal with expressive movement and a decisively engaging hind leg.

Second Place
Reserve champion was also a daughter of Odeer: Victory, stable name Vicky, out of the sport mare Jannet (by W V Saron), bred and owned by Naaw van Kuijk from Wilbertoord. Marloes explained: "This foal has a lot of front and balance in movement. Her easy canter stood out positively."
