The Pavo Cup also served as an opportunity to nominate stallions for the stallion selection. Through this selection via the Pavo Cup, Fiji has received a provisional invitation to the KWPN performance test, pending the inspection of his foals and compliance with veterinary requirements.

On Thursday, Fiji (by For Romance out of Happy-Times ZB ster by Charmeur, bred by Stal Zwaansbroek BV from Noordwijk) was assessed as part of the stallion selection based on his conformation and walk and trot on hard ground. Following this, the stallion owned by Reesink Horses was evaluated under saddle by the stallion selection committee in both the semi-final and the final. Based on these evaluations, Fiji has been designated for the performance test, provided he meets the necessary foal inspection and veterinary standards.

Under rider Kim Alting, Fiji placed third today in the Pavo Cup for five-year-old horses.
