The first collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction is now live, kicking off the 2025 season in style. From the 8^th to 11^th of August, bidders will have the chance to secure 19 dressage foals and six talented showjumping foals, sired by stallions like Pavo Cup champion Extreme U.S., Pavo Cup reserve champion Pjethro, and stallion competition winner Drummer 2000 TN.

Over the past years, the KWPN Auctions platform has become an international showcase where breeders and buyers meet to source promising prospects. This summer, seven editions of the KWPN Online Foal Auction are scheduled between July and September.

Pavo Cup stars in the spotlight
Fresh from winning his second Pavo Cup title last week, Extreme U.S. is also making waves in the breeding arena. Two of his foals appear in this first collection: Vingino Blue CT (ds.Glamourdale), a colt out of a mare that scored 78 points in her IBOP test and hails from the same family as international Small Tour horse Victor (s.Darlington). The other colt is Vextreme Papillon (ds.For Ferrero), bred from the line of Grand Prix dressage horse Lord Platinum (s.Ferguson). Pjethro, runner-up in the five-year-old Pavo Cup, is represented by the filly Viva la Vida LC (ds.Fürstenball), whose granddam is a half-sister to international Intermediate II horse Baccara van Weltevreden (s.Painted Black). Another highlight is Vinia (Pride x Florencio), a filly bred out of a half-sister to two Small Tour horses. This renowned damline has also produced international Grand Prix performers Just Royal Dancer (s.Jazz) and Fallatijn (s.Vivaldi).

Performance bloodlines
Showjumping enthusiasts will not want to miss the Drummer 2000 TN colt Volt (ds.Quasimodo Z). His dam competed at 1.30m-level and has produced multiple offspring performing at this level or higher. Volt also has the same granddam as top-level jumpers Dittorio-S (WEG Tryon with Alaa Mayssara) and Fellini S (Erynn Ballard). He originates from the successful breeding line of family Van Straaten.

The full collection is now online at www.kwpn.auction. Bidding opens on Friday the 8^th of August, and closes on Monday the 11^th of August from 8:00 PM (Dutch time).
