Grandorado TN steals the spotlight among multiple impressive KWPN jumpers
The KWPN horses once again delivered strong performances at the prestigious Spruce Meadows CSIO5* and the EEF Nations Cup Final in Avenches. Grandorado TN in particular stole the spotlight.
At the CSIO5* in Calgary, the KWPN-approved stallion Grandorado TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Charmieque elite IBOP-spr EPTM-spr sport-spr prest PROK by Carolus II, breeders Marinus Rietberg and Dick Verhoeven from Holten) jumped with impressive power, finishing third place in Friday’s 1.60m classic. Ridden by Willem Greve, the keur stallion kept all the rails up but incurred a small-time penalty. In the Rolex Grand Prix, they added a ninth-place finish. The Nations Cup at this show was won by Great Britain, with Matthew Sampson on the Clinton daughter Ebolensky sport-spr (out of Warella elite IBOP-spr prest PROK by Heartbreaker, breeders Frank and Patrice Koster from Wehl). Daniel Deusser jumped double clear in the Nations Cup with the Eldorado van de Zeshoek son Gangster van het Noddevelt (out of NN by Careful, breeder Twan van Rooij from Berlicum).
Three 1.50m wins

Dutch sport horses worldwide
At all international levels in dressage, jumping and eventing, KWPN-bred horses achieve top results. To highlight both the horses and their breeders, the international winners are celebrated each week. For jumping horses, this applies from 1.50m at CSI3*, for dressage horses from Grand Prix level at CDI3*, and in eventing all winners are included. For dressage stallions, a top five placing from ZZ-Zwaar level upwards is noted, and for jumping stallions a top ten placing from 1.50m upwards. In eventing, all KWPN stallions are included.
