The countdown is on! Bidding on the 14 showjumping and 32 dressage foals in the KWPN Online Foal Auction will close tonight at 8:00 PM (CET). Now is the time to make your final selections.

Interested buyers from countries such as Italy, the United States and France have already discovered the collection and placed the first bids. The collection consists of 46 foals, sired by stallions such as Ferro, McLaren, Pjethro, Glock’s Taminiau, Powerbank, Drummer 2000 TN, Comthago VDL and Uricas van de Kattevennen.

Future stars
Promising talents will come under the virtual hammer tonight. Among them is the Extreme U.S. filly Viviana O (ds.Jazz), bred from a well-tested (IBOP 80.5) NMK mare. From her direct damline also descends the Intermediate II horse Dolphin. The Lord Romantic son Valentin Angulo Sambecano (ds.Warkant van ’t Gestelhof) is a half-brother to the Small Tour horse Jacquino AS and comes from a versatile sport lineage, which has also produced the international Grand Prix dressage horses VMF Gladiator, Toots, Iejoor and Hip By Johnson. On the jumping side, the Comthago VDL offspring Vomthago (ds.Quasimodo van de Molendreef) and Vigo T (ds.Grandorado TN) have a bright future. Vomthago’s granddam, Noblesse R, produced several successful international eventers and is the foundation mare behind international showjumpers such as Imposant TN and Going For Gold van de Renger. Vigo T was bred out of a highly tested (IBOP 84) elite mare and comes from the same damline as the international 1.55m-level  showjumper Zabor.

Extended by three minutes
Experience shows that bidding intensifies in the final hour. The auction begins closing tonight from 8:00 PM (CET). The foals will close in groups, and if a new bid is placed within the final five minutes, the bidding for that foal will be extended by three minutes. Not yet registered to bid? All foals have been assessed by a KWPN inspector and clinically vetted by a veterinarian, full reports are available online.
