From 15 to 17 December, the showjumping stallions will be presented during the first viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten. Just like last year, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof convincingly tops the list, with eight of his sons appearing in the arena. The group divisions are now available online.

Following him is the younger stallion New Pleasure VDL with seven offspring, while Chacoon Blue is also strongly represented with six sons. Carrera VDL is making a notable impression this year as well, with five registered stallions.

Showjumping Stallions in Ermelo
A total of 162 showjumping stallions have been registered for the first viewing. From Ermelo, the selected stallions can proceed to the second viewing at the KWPN Stallion Show 2026, held from 28 to 31 January in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

Ban on Clipping Whiskers and Inner Ear Hair
It is not permitted to participate in stallion selections or other KWPN events and competitions with horses whose tactile hairs around the mouth and eyes have been completely removed and/or whose inner ear hairs have been clipped. Compliance will be monitored by the appointed officials. Excessively protruding hairs may be trimmed. For adult horses, clipping of the legs and trimming or clipping the tail is allowed. For the stallion selection, stallions whose tactile hairs around the mouth and eyes are completely removed and/or whose inner ear hairs are clipped will be excluded from participation.
