How does a horse develop from a promising young talent into a top-level athlete? During the KWPN Dressage Stallion Gala – Where the stars return, the clinic From Potential to Performance offers a complete insight into the training process of sport horses.

Under the guidance of Emmelie Scholtens and Hans Peter Minderhoud, visitors will gain a unique perspective on the choices and steps required to responsibly and purposefully develop a horse to Grand Prix level. Using a range of horses, from young talent to the highest level, the clinic illustrates the journey from potential to performance.

Several combinations will appear in the arena, including Sarai L (For Real L out of For Romance, breeder L Horses, Skanderborg) ridden by Lina Uzunhasan, and Secret Lover (Oh La La out of Fürstenball, breeder B. Zumbruch, Wangerland), winner of the Anemone Dressage Stallion Competition M level during the KWPN Stallion Show 2025.

Kim Alting will present the KWPN-approved stallion Fiji (For Romance out of Happy-Times ZB ster pref by Charmeur, breeder Stal Zwaansbroek BV, Noordwijk), while Renate van Uytert will ride her Light Tour horse In Style (Eye Catcher out of Sissy by Lorentin I, breeder Joop van Uytert, Heerewaarden).

Experience the KWPN Dressage Stallion Gala – Where the stars return live during the KWPN Stallion Show 2026 from 28 to 31 January. The Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch will once again be transformed into the ultimate highlight of Dutch sport and breeding. In addition to the stallion selection, visitors can enjoy a fantastic programme featuring exciting sport and show classes, showcasing the very best of the Dutch sport horse.
