Day two of the KWPN Stallion Show 2026 is about to begin
Today, Thursday 29 January, day two of the KWPN Stallion Show 2026 is entirely dedicated to show jumping. At the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch, breeders, sport enthusiasts and visitors can look forward to a full and varied programme featuring stallion selections, top-level sport, the KWPN Select Sale and the battle for the VHO Trophy.
The day starts at 8.00 a.m. with the second inspection of the show jumping stallions. At 11.45 a.m., the older stallions will be presented in hand.
Blom Stallion Competition – Jumping
This afternoon, the finals of the Blom Stallion Competition Jumping are on the programme. The 1.10m final starts at 1.00 p.m., followed by the 1.20m final at 2.35 p.m. In the evening, at 7.20 p.m., the final in the 1.30m class will take place.
Championship inspection
At 3.30 p.m., the prize-giving and championship inspection of the jumping stallions will be held, powered by Knegt. Immediately afterwards, at 3.55 p.m., the KWPN Select Sale begins, offering a carefully selected collection of young jumping horses. Later in the afternoon, at 5.45 p.m., the stallions approved in 2025 will be presented under saddle.
Who will be Jumping Horse of the Year?
Following the final of the Blom Stallion Competition 1.30m, the presentation of the Jumping Horse of the Year, powered by Van Santvoort, will take place at 7.55 p.m. The day concludes with the VHO Trophy, starting at 8.35 p.m. In this prestigious class, the best jumping stallions compete for victory in an exciting sport finale.
Dressage Congress
Running parallel to the evening programme, the international congress Shaping the Future of Dressage – Where Breeding Meets Performance will take place today at 7.00 p.m. in the Hertogzaal. Speakers include Isabell Werth, Emma Blundell, Christine Arns-Krogmann and Eugene Reesink. A separate ticket is required for this congress.
