Conan Wright was able to make optimal use of the scope, blood and quality of the stallion Rising Blue (by Chacco-Blue), securing victory in the Blom Stallion Competition class L.

In the first final of the day, twelve KWPN-approved stallions came to the start. Six of them qualified for the jump-off, including five stallions that remained on zero penalties throughout the entire competition.

Future talents
Conan Wright immediately went on the attack with the very cooperative Rising Blue (Chacco-Blue out of Zarina III ster pref prest by Heartbreaker, breeder Willy Wijnen), whom he rides for Stal Brinkman and Jeroen Verver. This resulted in a faultless round that all competitors failed to match. “I had never ridden a jump-off with Rising Blue before, but I immediately had full confidence in him. He is incredibly careful, has plenty of blood and a fantastic mentality. I never have to worry about him making a mistake, even when I have to ride a bit faster like today,” said the winner. The best attempt to challenge Rising Blue’s top position came from the other ‘Rising’ stallion, the powerful Rising Aranix (Aganix du Seigneur out of Lady D van ’t Roosakker sport-spr by Echo van ’t Spieveld), whose name originates from breeder Rising Stud in Froombosch. Time and again, this stallion impresses with his commitment, ease and scope. He is also very rideable, which he once again demonstrated in the final under Kristian Houwen. Third place went to another major future talent: the very athletic R.Elfhaban van Beek (Elfra van Beek Z out of Habanda van Beek PROK by Hos d’O), ridden by Conan Wright for breeder Guido Herrijgers of ’t Eirbissenhof.
