Last Saturday, all twelve presented stallions in the stallion performance test in Ermelo were approved for breeding by KWPN. Most of them scored 80 points or higher.

The Stallion Selection committee was very content after the performance test was finished. "The stallions all have developed well during the test, and the quality overall is remarkably good," says chairman Cor Loeffen. The highest points were given to the Carrera VDL-son Kallmar VDL (out of Geluk-Olaris elite IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK from Indorado, breeders Martine Hijlkema and Henk Dirksen, registered with VDL Stud) who was very easy to ride, and has lots of athletic ability. With nines for the reflexes, technique, power and talent as a jumper he received the top score of 87.5 points. Ten out of twelve approved stallions achieved a score of 80 points or higher.
