Rubens LS La Silla recognized
It has just been announced that the stallion selection committee has recommended a stallion for recognition to the General Board, an recommendation which has been accepted. The 1.60m stallion Rubens LS La Silla is recognized.
Rubens LS La Silla (by Rebozo LS La Silla out of Scapino Chanel by Cash, breeder La Silla from Mexico) is 15 years old. His sire is the 1.60m show jumper Rebozo LS La Silla (by Dollar de la Pierre out of Renata La Silla by G. Ramiro Z, breeder La Silla from Mexico), who himself jumped at the London Olympics with Rodrigo Pessoa. With Rodrigo, he was also fourth in the individual final at the World Championships in Lexington and fourth with the Brazilian team. He was also third in the Grand Prix of Rome, Calgary and Torino. The dam of Rubens La Silla, the mare Scapino Chanel (by Cash out of Africa by Alexis Z) jumped at 1.60m level and with Gerardo Tazzer jumped for Mexico at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. After her sport career she produced no less than three licensed sons and three children who jumped at 1.60m level. Rubens LS La Silla has been jumping at the highest level of the sport for several years with, amongst others, Conor Swail and Denis Lynch. He won the Grand Prix of Tryon, La Coruña and Langley and was runner-up in the Grand Prix in Wellington. Rubens LS La Silla complies with the X-ray requirements set by the KWPN.
