Three stallions entered the arena in Den Bosch to be honoured for the accomplishments in the Stallion Competition Gelder Horse. Two of which, Mexpression x Koss) and Markant BK (Wilson x Sirius) participated in both rounds of the competition and were therefore eligible for the title. Mexpression obtained the best result in those two rounds and was declared champion. He was honoured together with breeder Herman Bruil. The stallion is registered to the name of Jaap Jonker. Markant BK is bred by L.W.M. Kollenburg and owned by Bertus Verwaijen. 

The third stallion McKenzy JHL, bred by Lieneke Roerdink, has only recently formed a combination with Diederik van Silfhout and therefore only participated in one of the competitions. His new rider presented him an appealing manner and showed how much progress this young stallion has made the last few months. The same could be said of Mexpression, ridden by Dennis Ausma, and Markant BK and Jean René Luijmes. Wim Versteeg, inspector Gelder horse, explained the spearheads of the Gelder Horse, a cooperative and willing character, a well-developed and rectangular model, and functional movements, can all be found in these three stallions.
