KWPN Online Foal Auction opens the season with a good collection
From today, the collection of the first KWPN Online Foal Auction can be viewed on the website. A total of 19 dressage and 7 jumping foals are part of this collection, and bidding will be open from July the 21st to 24th. Among them are offspring of Pavo Cup winner My Blue Hors Santiano, Olympic medalist Hermès, and World Championship participant Las Vegas. In the jumping direction, foals from HH Conrad Z and Night Life VDL are available.
Over the past years, the KWPN Auctions platform has developed into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. This season, eight editions are scheduled from July to October.
Dams with quality
Dressage enthusiasts will want to pay close attention to this first auction. For instance, Titolo D'Endy US (s.Glock's Toto Jr.), as a son of the Small Tour mare Dendy, is interesting for sport and stallion rearing. Granddam Endy (s.Ulft) is well-known as the dam of the international Grand Prix horse Broere Karmijn (s.Damiro), the Small Tour horse Zendy (s.Jazz), as well as NMK champion Andy (s.Jazz). Filly Très Bien G (s.Just Wimphof) comes from a Vivaldi dam that has competed at ZZ-Zwaar/fifth level, and the colt Top Design (s.Next Level) was bred from the ZZ-Licht/fourth level mare Favoriet (s.Jazz), who is a half-sister to the Intermediate II horse Benneton (s.Lingh). The For Romance son Thomax van de Reesterhof was bred from a mare that has been tested well with 80.5 points. Another interesting foal is the Winningmood colt Tombolaprins, who comes from the direct damline of the Olympic dressage horse Pop Art (s.Amsterdam) and KWPN approved stallion Noble Prince Norel (s.Painted Black). The filly Total Ginia (s.Total McLaren) is a half-sister to the recently for the NMK invited mare Purdy (s.Lennox US) and represents a proven dressage lineage.
The jumping foals are in the minority in this first collection, but there are also future talents among them. The Napardi son Tapardi comes from the well-known Dermie line, which makes him related to stallions such as Mermus R, Odermus R, and Namelus R. The Emir R colt Temir M has a dam that has competed at 1.35m level and represents an allround damline, while colt Top Notch XXV (s.Conrad de Hus) was bred from a dam who has scored 80 points for free jumping at the mare inspections and is related to several international showjumpers.
The collection can be viewed at www.kwpn.auction starting today. Online bidding for the foals in this collection will begin on Friday the 21st of July. Interested bidders need to register in advance, and bidding will close on Monday the 24th of July at 8:00 PM CET.
