83% sold in third KWPN Online Foal Auction
The third KWPN Online Foal Auction has finished. The KWPN’s objective of these auctions is to aid their members in the sale of their horses. A sales percentage of over 83% therefore means this third edition was a success. The striking Opoque-daughter Tres Belle was sold for 10.000 euros and remains in the Netherlands.
Many breeders were supported in the sale of their foal and nearly half of the sold foals have a future abroad ahead of them. 83% of the auction foals changed hands, nearly 50% of them shall move abroad.
Tonight’s top seller of the jumper foals was Toronto (s.Chaccoon Blue). She was acquired by a buyer from Sweden for 7.000 euros. Twelve foals fetched more than 5.000 euros.
The large percentage of returning buyers proves that buyers are pleased with the KWPN Auctions. Many foreign customers that purchased foals in previous online editions this year, came back for the third edition of the KWPN Online Foal Action. Buyers from the United States, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Norway placed the winning bids. The latter acquired no fewer than three foals, securing a lot of Dutch dressage genes.
