In the fifth collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction, offspring of successful stallions such as Highway TN, Verdi, Glamourdale, Hermès, and Las Vegas are up for auction. The collection consists of eleven showjumping foals and twenty-five dressage foals, and online bidding will be open from September 8th to 11th. Several foals are closely related to Grand Prix horses and possess great potential.

The auction platform KWPN Auctions has evolved over the years into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. In the months from July to October, a total of eight online auctions are organized, with this being the fifth one.

Great origins
The Livius son Touchdown shows great potential for both sport and stallion rearing. His sire achieved two Small Tour victories in Tolbert last weekend, and his dam Ukkie (s.Jazz), foaled a fifth level/ZZ-Zwaar dressage horse and is listed as the granddam of the WEG medal-winning stallion Hermès (s.Easy Game) ridden by Dinja van Liere, as well as the Grand Prix level dressage horse Himalaya (s.Bordeaux) and the Small Tour stallion Johnny Cash (s.Bon Bravour). From a successful damline also originates Taro Oet Einekoeze (s.Hermès). His granddam Cidamorka, performed at Small Tour level and is a full sister to the Big Tour dressage horse Azzaro, ridden by Lisanne der Nederlanden. Thus, Taro Oet Einekoeze is closely related to Grand Prix horses like Camorkus and Wamorkus (s.Contango). The colt Top Gun (s.Nashville Star) was bred from a half-sister of the KWPN approved Grand Prix stallion Indigro (s.Negro) ridden by Andrew Gould and the Big Tour dressae mare Galina (s.Bordeaux) of Judith Ribbels. The filly Taka-Daula (s.Desperado) is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix horse Geronimo (s.Apache) of Ainhoa Prada Ortiz and the Small Tour horse Hopi-Moki (s.Fürst Romancier). The filly Tess Rava D (s.Vitalis) was bred out of a half-sister to four Small Tour horses and represents the successful lineage of the late breeder Cees van Etten.

Grand Prix genes
Did you also enjoy the performances of Highway TN under Willem Greve at the European Championships in Milan? An interesting son of him, the colt Tornado T, is offered in the KWPN Online Foal Auction. On the dam's side, he is related to -among others- the 1.50m level showjumper Vendredi (s.Hors la Loi II). The colt The Boss (s.Comthago VDL) has the same granddam as, among others, the international 1.50/1.60m horses Dyranta v/h Rhen (s.Kashmir van Schuttershof) and RR Bellerose (s.Kashmir van Schuttershof). An interesting filly is, for example, the Nixon van ’t Meulenhof daughter Twister. Her dam Farnike is a half-sister to the Grand Prix showjumper Audi’s Reflection (s.Monaco) ridden by Vincent Voorn and the 1.45m horses Warnike (s.Heartbreaker) and the KWPN approved stallion Cidane (s.Heartbreaker).
