Offspring of first-class sport stallions in KWPN Online Foal Auction
For anyone in search of young talent, the seventh collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction has something to offer. The collection consists of 14 showjumping and 23 dressage foals, and online bidding will be open from September 22nd to September 25th. Offspring of performance stallions such as Highway TN, Grand Slam VDL, Jovian, Hermès, and Glamourdale can be acquired in this auction.
The auction platform KWPN Auctions has evolved over the years into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. In the months from July to October, a total of eight online auctions are organized, with this being the second-to-last.
Performance stallions and strong damlines are represented within this collection. In the dressage direction, for example, Temptation van de Heidehoeve (s.Glamourdale) is an one-to-watch. His dam is a half-sister to several Small Tour horses as well as the national Grand Prix dressage horse High-Five Texel (s.Sorento) ridden by Harm Dijkstra. Bred from a half-sister to the international Grand Prix dressage horse Fifty-Fifty (s.Vivaldi) ridden by Laura Ponnath, this auction offers the So Perfect foal Trimbell. From the same dam as the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Gotcha-Utopia (s.Ziësto), originates the filly Trés-Belle Utopia (s.Expression). Both the dam and granddam of Toujours Joyeux (s.My Blue Hors Santiano) have competed at ZZ-Licht/fourth level, and this damline has already produced several Small Tour horses.
For those who love showjumping foals, there are also interesting prospects available. For instance, the Zirocco Blue VDL colt Tambo comes from a half-sister to the KWPN approved Grand Prix stallion Zerlin M (s.Berlin). The colt Tip Top van de Vrendt (s.Highway TN) hails from a strong branch of the Sina lineage and is closely related to top showjumping horses like MacKinley (s.Goodwill), with whom Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won team silver at the Athens Olympic Games, and the KWPN approved Floris TN (s.Quality Time), ridden by Dominique Hendrickx. The Hardrock Z son Tiago S represents the solid Lottie/Zottie family and has the same granddam as, for example, the 1.60m level showjumper Demilion W (s.Emilion) ridden by Okil Sobirjonov.
The collection can be viewed at www.kwpn.auction starting today. Online bidding for the foals in this collection will begin on Friday the 22nd of September. Interested bidders need to register in advance, and bidding will close on Monday the 25th of September at 8:00 PM CET.
