KWPN on the lead with eight-year-olds in Valkenswaard
On the second day of the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping GCT, the eight-year-old KWPN horses performed well. Erika Lickhammer, riding Koberlina (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek), secured fourth place.
Under the guidance of team coach Eric van der Vleuten, three eight-year-olds made it into the top ten on the second day of the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy. Four out of five of them remained faultless in this competition, allowing KWPN to maintain its leading position.
No troubles
Just like yesterday, the Irish duo Geoff Curran/DHF Alliance (by Douglas) proved unbeatable in the 1.45m class. With Koberlina TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of E-Oberlina B stb by Verdi, bred by Team Nijhof), Erika Lickhammer-Van Helmond for the KWPN team needed slightly more time for a beautiful faultless round, earning them the fourth place. Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer also stayed faultless once again with the careful Comme Il Faut son Kyfo (out of Gucci elite sport-spr PROK by Chellthago Z, bred by J.G.N.E. van Dooren from Boekel) and finished eighth, just like yesterday. Alex David Gill completed a faultless round as ninth with the Bubalu VDL son, VDL Kelton (out of Gina ster by Corland, bred by VDL Stud). To complete the success, Ronnie Jones once again delivered a faultless round for the second consecutive day with the KWPN-approved stallion Key West (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of Zanory T keur prest by Phin Phin, bred by Roelof Bril from Westendorp).
