On the second day of the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping GCT in Valkenswaard, the seven-year-olds competed in the first event at a 1.40m level. For the five-year-olds, the second event was on the schedule.

In the first event for the seven-year-olds, both Lakoniek (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Unique by Calato, breeder R.M. Thoben from Wijhe) ridden by Sofia Westborg and Lavesther (Elvis ter Putte out of Vesther keur sport-spr prest by Guidam, bred by Geert Moerings) ridden by Bas Moerings, jumped flawlessly to achieve top-ten results. They finished ninth and tenth in this 1.40m class. The best KWPN performer among the five-year-olds today was the Highway TN son Noah (out of Upanita ster prest by Onze Fons, bred by J. Dekkker Beheer BV from Kootwijkerbroek), who finished ninth with Niels Jonkers.

Tomorrow, the championships continue with the second event for the seven-year-olds at 10:30 AM, followed by the six-year-olds at 1:15 PM. The eight-year-olds will start at 4:00 PM in the 1.50m class.
